MACVICAR-CRITCHLEY Genealogy page
(A little note here- The 'Bob McVicar', owner of this site, is not 'our' Bob. This is another McVicar family all together.)
My father's family comes from the Western Hebrides
by way of Cape Breton, Inverness and Victoria counties
in Nova Scotia and my mother's family is from the
East End of London and Belfast by way of Montreal.
I am posting genealogical information on the following families I am researching based on their ancestry:
My father's father, Ronald MacVicar, was born on October 28, 1870 in Cow Bay (Port Morien) and died on September 23 1960 in Sydney

My father's mother, Edith Jessie MacAulay, was born on February 16, 1880....

On May 13, 1999, Historic Madison bought the McVicar-Stein and Wollin photo collections from Tim Romano. The collections contain over 100,000 negatives and prints from three prominent Madison commercial photographers who were active between 1926 and 1980.
